Ankle Sprains
Ligament injuries from a twisted ankle. Most heal with care, but some need specialist assessment to avoid chronic instability.
About this condition
A sprain happens when the ankle twists beyond its normal range, stretching or tearing the ligaments on the outside of the joint. Most sprains settle with simple measures, but repeated sprains or persistent pain deserve a specialist review to protect the long-term health of the joint.
